Gmünd is a small city in the northern Waldviertel.The border between Austria and Czech Republic divides
Gmünd in two parts.
Very famous are the Sgraffiti houses of the 16th century.
The Blockheide nature park last autumn.

Hi I haven't visited your blog in a while - I love your Czech city photos, and these painted houses are great, I visited Austria 2 years ago on a drive around Europe and we stayed in Landeck in the Tirol, and there were great painted buildings next to our hotel! I wish I had more time to see everyone of your posts!
