The Waldviertel (Forrest Quarter) is thenorthwestern region of Lower Austria.
Here you can see some old houses,
most of them are built of stone.
In this area the people have been poor,
so the old buildings are small.
In wintertime it is cold with a lot of snow.

Beautiful caputres! Great post! My husband just agreed to board the Franz Josephs Bahn tomorrow and to go to where the snow is hight :))))
