CENTRAL CEMETERY IN VIENNA

The Zentralfriedhof - Central Cemetery of Vienna
is the second largest cemetry in Europe.
It was built 1874 and it is 2,4 square kilometres big.
I like the old monuments,
there is a very old jewish sector,
and many famous people have their graves here.
You can find wild animals -
they have found a silent place for living.

GMÜND/WALDVIERTEL

Gmünd is a small city in the northern Waldviertel.
The border between Austria and Czech Republic divides
Gmünd in two parts.

Very famous are the Sgraffiti houses of the 16th century.

OLD HOUSES OF WALDVIERTEL

The Waldviertel (Forrest Quarter) is the
northwestern region of Lower Austria.
Here you can see some old houses,
most of them are built of stone.
In this area the people have been poor,
so the old buildings are small.
In wintertime it is cold with a lot of snow.

SKYWATCH - SUNSET

This old apple-tree stands near my window.
Last week when I was sitting at my writingdesk,
I could see these wounderful colours
of a sunset .
